Indian Air Force has given employment notification for the recruitment of Commissioned Officer (Female) vacancies in Meteorology Branch. Eligible Indian Female candidates may send their applications on or before 09-08-2014 and 16-08-2014 for Far Flung Areas.

Age Limit:
Candidates age limit is 20 years to 25 years i.e born in between 02-07-1990 to 01-07-1995. Cutoff date for determining age limit is 01-07-2015. The upper age relaxation is 27 years for Ph.D completed candidates.

Educational Qualification:Candidates must possess P.G degree in any Science Stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environmental/ Geo Physics/ Environmental Biology with minimum of 50% marks. Candidates appearing in final year/ semester examination may also apply if they have not any present backlog & should be able to provide provisional/ original degree certificate latest by 15-06-2014.

Selection Process:Candidates will be selected based on performance in Intelligence Test, Screening Test, Psychological Test, Group Tests, Medical Test and Interview.

How to Apply:Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format along with photograph affixed on application, two additional photographs and one self addressed envelope of size 23 x 10 cm with Rs 27/- postage stamp, in an envelope superscribed with “Application for Meteorology Branch Course Commencing from July 2015″ send by ordinary post addressed to Post Bag No 001, Nirman Bhawan Post Office, New Delhi 110106 on or before 09-08-2014 and 16-08-2014 for Far Flung Areas.
